MS-SCHRAMBERG GOES CHINA

"MS-Schramberg Kunshan" project

MS-Schramberg is currently developing a plant in China for the production of plastic-bonded pressed and injection-moulded magnets. Preparations for the start of production are already underway. Operational business is due to begin in spring 2019. Our partner in the planning and implementation of the project is the Startup Factory, which uses a joint infrastructure in the German Industrial Park. The range of building services allows for diverse production equipment and machinery for various sectors, including automotive suppliers, engineering, environmental technology, electronics and medical technology.

Kunshan German Industrial Park is situated in the Zhangpu district of the city of Kunshan. Kunshan is around 50 kilometres west of Shanghai and 30 kilometres east of Suzhou. The airport at Hongzhou is a 45-minute drive and the one at Pudong is around 90 minutes away. Kunshan is a stop on the Shanghai–Beijing high-speed railway, via which the journey time to Bejing is around 5.5 hours.

In terms of transport strategy, we will therefore be perfectly placed to ensure excellent service and supply to our local customers.
