The production process of sintered hard ferrite magnets is similar to the production of technical ceramic.
First, made from a for the corresponding magnet quality suitable magnetic powder, a “green part” is being produced by a pressing procedure. By the subsequent sintering in the feed ovens the magnet is being created.
In many cases, the sintered magnets are being brought to its final shape by a mechanical machining with diamond toolings and diverse grinding procedures. The magnetising of the magnets is being effected at the end of the process row or only at the customers’.
The pressing procedure can be divided in “wet-pressed” and "dry-pressed".
